SUNDAY ! THE SHOWDOWN
Duke takes a fourth trip to the ACC final game, while State makes an unexpected but for a grand matchup slated for 1:00. According to our data State has not played Duke in the final game since 1966!
Duke's Mike Dunleavy named an Academic All-America
Duke junior Mike Dunleavy was named to the Academic All-America second team today.
Dunleavy, a first team All-America forwar, All-ACC and All-ACC Defensive Team selection, garners Academic All-America honors for the first time after earning Academic All-District and ACC All-Academic Team honors last season.

A history major with a 3.26 grade point average Dunleavy has excellent statistics on and off the courts. He is one of the two players ranked in the top ten in seven statistical categories. He is third in team scoring and second in rebounding and is tied for the team in lead steals (70s)

Dunleavy is the second blue Devil to win the honor, as Shane Battier earned the distinction last year. Dunleavy is one of the twenty finalists for the Naiismith Award, one of the thirty midsectional finalists for the Wooden Award and one of three finalists for ESPN the Magazine's forward of the year.
